This week I went to Wildfire to get my 8th tattoo!
I’ve been going to Wildfire ever since I got my first tattoo (somewhere back in the early noughties) and don’t think I will ever go anywhere else. First situated above Purple Turtle, they then moved around the corner to Burg Street, then to Buiten Street off Long, before settling into their awesome new shop on Long Street next door to Zula. They have also opened a branch in Canal Walk.
Started by Manuela and Simon, Wildfire have developed a cult following, with people coming from all over the world to be inked by the supremely talented Manuela and her team. I’ve been inked by a few different Wildfire artists, including Simon, Garth, Julian, Andro, Dave and Lee – all of which are hugely talented (and many of which are rather easy on the eye too, hehe).
